Breast Care Division, Samved Hospital did a unique event, on 6th July 2024, first of its kind in the city of Ahmedabad and the state of Gujarat to create awareness amongst the visually impaired girls at the Saroj Smruti Pragnyakulam institute run by Raah Foundation.

Dr Shefali Desai gave a talk on Breast problems especially cancer and taught them Breast Self Examination on models and their own selves. Dr Harnisha Mistry examined these girls, taught them self examination and counselled them. The girls, who were multitalented and versatile, were very enthusiastic to learn and they promised to help Samved team to spread this awareness in the other visually impaired girls and women.
